My AI Approach

I approach AI as a collaborative tool that supports my learning, productivity, and creative process. Rather than relying on AI to complete work for me, I use it to generate ideas, explore different perspectives, improve clarity, and accelerate routine tasks while maintaining responsibility for the final result.

Throughout this course, I developed skills in prompt engineering that helped me interact with AI more effectively. I learned that the quality of AI-generated content depends heavily on the prompts provided and the human judgment applied when reviewing the output. As a result, I focus on providing clear instructions, evaluating responses critically, and refining content to ensure accuracy and relevance.

A practical example of this approach occurred while building my portfolio website. I used AI to brainstorm content ideas and improve wording for several sections. However, I carefully reviewed each suggestion and revised content that felt too generic or did not accurately reflect my experiences, skills, and career goals. This process allowed me to benefit from AI’s efficiency while preserving authenticity and personal ownership of the work.

Moving forward, I will continue to use AI as a tool for research, learning, problem-solving, and content development. My approach emphasizes human oversight, critical thinking, and intentional decision-making, ensuring that AI enhances my work without replacing my creativity, expertise, or responsibility for the final outcome.
